The bookcase here is approximately twelve feet long by eight feet tall. Designed in a Georgian style, replicating original eighteenth century mouldings to match the period of the home. The whole piece has been constructed using one inch thick MDF with hard wood mouldings. The shelves are fully adjustable using a dowel and socket system. The handles are cast brass and manufactured in Birmingham to original Georgian patterns prior to being artificially aged. Three coats of eggshell off white paint have been used to finish the look.
